I may be a little biased I may be a little bit, but as a person who has done his fair share of traveling, a person who has been involved in sports as either an athlete, traine, recruiter etc... I have been to sporting events all over the country and without a doubt no one and i do mean no one can do it like New Orleans.
11 Super Bowls in to it , tied for most with Miami (and for those who don't know should be the 12th if not for hurricane Katrina) there is a reason that the NFL loves to come to New Orleans for its biggest event. With everything in close proximity to the Superdome, the hotel hotels, the French Quarter,Ceasar's Casino of course our unique and world famous cuisine and history , the number one thing is the people that make up this amazing city which stands alone for the most part throughout the state.
Its the people, the fabric of the city which makes all of it possible, one of the few places in this world where one can put on a song and people will drop their bags ( but never drop or put down a drink lol) stop in their tracks and begin to dance with complete strangers, no words needed ,no hesitation just the simple blowing of a trumpet and within seconds every one around knows what's about to happen.
There's no party like a Big Easy party, no midnight last calls for alcohol, no such thing as not being able to take your alcoholic beverage outside of the restaurant or bar none of that foolishness here 🤣🤯 and most importantly to all even though prices are of cost raised for lodging just like every where else, but it is still one of the only places where one can literally be in the thick of one of the world's biggest parties, having an amazing time full of music, food, dancing, etc. with out needing to take out a loan as I had to remind a friend of mine from Miami. Now I love Miami and never turn down an opportunity to go., But if someone tells me we're going to go out in Miami and dance and party all night , there's no doubt I am expecting to spend a pretty penny for that one night much less the rest of the weekend.🤣
